About Harpan Music School
Harpan Music School is a public music school that operates according to the Ministry of Education's curriculum. The school teaches most common instruments such as violin, piano, guitar, electric bass, electric guitar, double bass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, ukulele, and more. It also offers a robust preschool program.
The school employs eight teachers, all educated in music and experienced in engaging teaching methods. Harpan Music School's headquarters are located at Spöngin in the heart of Grafarvogur, but lessons are also available at Álftamýrarskóli, Ártúnsskóli, Engjaskóli, Húsaskóli, and Sæmundarskóli during school hours. The school provides group lessons for beginners, while intermediate and advanced students receive one-on-one tuition.
