Individual market sales
Monolithic market sales are licensed for an area of about 5 square meters.
Temporary sales licenses can be applied for in defined marketplaces.
Period
Sales licenses are valid from the 1st of each month between March 1st – November 30th.
Sales are authorized from 09:00‐21:00.
A permit must be applied for for a minimum of two months excluding November and the rent must be paid before the signing of the contract.
Requests for extensions should be sent by the 15th of each month to square sales@reykjavik.is
Bernhöftstorfa, Lækjartorg, Ingólstorg and France (park on the top of the French Steps) and the licensee can move between these places at will.
The Licensee is obliged to refrain from the granting of demurrage permits for events in the above-mentioned areas.
