District schedules
At the Education Policy Summit 2024, diverse and exciting events will be organized with staff in preschools, primary schools, youth centers, after-school programs, and school bands in all districts from 1pm.
These events offer opportunities to learn about diverse projects and discuss the future of education in Reykjavík.
Schedule in West: Vesturbær, Miðborg, and Hlíðar
Before noon, school and recreational activities staff in Vesturbær, Miðborg, and Hlíðar will follow the Education Policy Summit schedule at their workplace.
After noon, schedule from 1pm
District workshops for primary school, preschool, and recreational staff at Hagaskóli and Melaskóli. Staff can choose between various educational sessions and workshops there. View the schedule created jointly across workplaces.
Everyone can register for two presentations or workshops to participate in. The deadline to register for the on-site schedule was end of day Friday, May 10. Everyone should have received an overview of presentation locations.
People are encouraged to carpool or arrive in an environmentally friendly way, walking, biking - even singing. We look forward to seeing you.

Physical education and swimming teachers in Reykjavík: Workshop at Háteigskirkja parish hall from 1pm to 3pm.
Schedule in North: Laugardalur, Háaleiti, and Bústaðir
Before noon, school and recreational activities staff in Laugardalur, Háaleiti, and Bústaðir will follow the Education Policy Summit schedule at their workplace.
After noon, schedule from 1pm
Primary school staff: Schedule at Laugalækjarskóli and Langholtsskóli from 1pm to 3pm. Educational sessions and workshops from neighborhood schools will showcase exciting and diverse projects. Workshops are divided into two parts where staff can choose presentations that suit them. Workshop registration.
After the program, a happy hour will be held from 3pm to 4pm at Ölver Glæsibær with casual socializing and conversation.
Preschool staff: Schedule at Vogaskóli where staff will present diverse projects.
Kringlumýri recreational activities staff: Schedule takes place at Tónabær and Álftabær from 1pm to 4pm

Schedule in East: Grafarvogur, Grafarholt, Úlfarsárdalur, Árbær, Norðlingaholt, and Kjalarnes

After noon, schedule from 1pm
Primary school professional groups meet and coordinate. Teacher groups come prepared, ready to share something they are proud of and want to communicate. Soft drinks and chocolates will be offered.

Before noon, school and recreational activities staff in South will follow the Education Policy Summit schedule at their workplace.
After-school program and youth center management group meets at Hólmasel before noon.

Primary school staff: Schedule at Seljaskóli from 1pm to 3pm. Professional groups will meet and present projects related to Reykjavík City's Education Policy done during the school year.
Preschool staff: Schedule at Ölduselsskóli from 1pm to 4pm, view schedule.
