Kosningaþátttaka í íbúalýðræðisverkefninu Hverfið mitt hefur aldrei verið betri. Þegar kosningum lauk á hádegi í dag var kosningaþátttakan 16,4%, þ.e. 16,4% íbúa 15 ára og eldri höfðu greitt atkvæði.
Hugmyndirnar sem valið stóð um voru 277 talsins bæði stóra og smáar, en 111 þeirra hlutu kosningu og verða framkvæmdar. Öll hverfi Reykjavíkur slógu sín þátttökumet, vel gert! Mesta þátttakan var á Kjalarnesi, en fast á hæla Kjalarness kom Árbær og Norðlingaholt.
Verkefnið Hverfið mitt hefur notið vaxandi fylgis síðustu ár og þróast í takt við ábendingar frá borgarbúum og víða úr borgarkerfinu sjálfu. Alls tóku 18.389 íbúar þátt í kosningurinn í ár en á kjörskrá voru 112.306 Reykvíkingar. „Við viljum þakka borgarbúum fyrir að taka þátt í kosningunni, og leggja sitt af mörkum í átt að auknu íbúalýðræði. Það er það sem þetta gengur allt út á að stuðla að betri hverfum með innsýn og aðkomu borgarbúa“ segir Eiríkur Búi Halldórsson, verkefnastjóri.
Verkefnin sem kosin voru til framkvæmda núna eru 111 talsins og bætast við þau 787 verkefni sem hafa nú þegar orðið að veruleika í gegnum íbúalýðræðið í Hverfið mitt. Verkefnin verða framkvæmd næsta sumar, árið 2022, og leitast verður við að hafa samráð við hugmyndasmiði um útfærslu verkefna - ekki síst í þeim tilfellum þegar þarf að breyta hugmyndum eða aðlaga þær.

Record turnout – Thanks for voting in Hverfið mitt
Voter turnout in the democracy project My District has never been better. When the election ended at noon today, the turnout was 16,4%, i.e. 16,4% of the population aged 15 and over had voted. There were 277 ideas that citizens could choose between, and 111 of them were chosen and will be implemented. All districts of Reykjavík broke their previous participation records, well done! The largest participation was in Kjalarnes, but Árbær and Norðlingaholt were close behind them.
The project My District has enjoyed growing support in recent years and the project has matured and developed in accordance with suggestions from city residents and from the city system itself. A total of 18.389 residents voted, but on the electoral roll this year were 112.306 Reykjavík residents. That's what it's all about, to make our neighbourhoods better with insight and involvement of the residents, "says Eiríkur Búi Halldórsson, project manager.
There were a total of 111 projects selected for implementation and they add to the total of the 787 projects that have already become a reality through the citizen democracy in Hverfið mitt. The projects will be implemented next summer, in 2022, and efforts will be made to consult with the creators of ideas on the implementation of projects - not least in cases where ideas need to be changed or adapted.

Mieszkańcy głosowali na poduchę dmuchaną i więcej roślinności
Frekwencja w tym demokratyczno-społecznościowym projekcie Moja dzielnica/Hverfið mitt nigdy nie była lepsza. Dziś w południe na koniec głosowania, frekwencja wynosiła 16,4%, czyli swoje głosy oddało 16,4% populacji w wieku od 15 lat wzwyż. Wybranych pomysłów było..., zarówno dużych projektów, jak i małych. Największa frekwencja była w dzielnicy Breiðholt, ale po piętach Kjalarnes zdecydowanie deptał Árbær i Norðlingaholt. Laugardalur tym razem się popisał i zajął 4 miejsce, czyli lepiej niż z zeszłym roku.
Projekt Moja Dzielnica/Hverfið mitt cieszy się w ostatnich latach coraz większą popularnością. Zgodnie z sugestiami mieszkańców miasta oraz samego systemu miejskiego projekt został zmodyfikowany i uległ rozwojowi. W sumie głosowało 18.389 mieszkańców. W tym roku na liście głosujących znaleźli się mieszkańcy 112.306 Reykjaviku. „Chcielibyśmy podziękować mieszkańcom za udział w głosowaniu oraz za wkład w demokratyczne społeczeństwo. O to właśnie chodzi w promowaniu lepszych dzielnic ze wglądem i zaangażowaniem mieszkańców miasta” – mówi Eiríkur Búi Halldórsson, kierownik projektu.
Projektów wybranych do realizacji jest w sumie 111 i dołączą do 787 projektów, które już zostały zrealizowane, dzięki demokratycznemu społeczeństwu w Hverfið mitt. Projekty będą realizowane latem przyszłego roku 2022 i będą podejmowane starania o konsultacje z twórcami pomysłów na realizację projektów – nie tylko w przypadkach, gdy pomysły będą wymagały zmiany lub adaptacji.
