Early voting at Kringlan

Voters can now cast early votes at Kringlan shopping center. 

Starting Monday, Aug. 17, an early voting location is open at Kringlan in connection with the national referendum scheduled for Aug. 29, 2026. The voting area is on the ground floor of Kringlan, across from Hrím and next to Kúnígúnd.

Hours: 

  • Weekdays, Aug. 17-28: noon to 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 22: noon to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Aug. 23: noon 5 p.m.
  • Closed on election day, Aug. 29

Voters must bring a valid photo ID.
