New psychiatry wing at NLSH — informational meeting on planning in Fossvogur
Nýr Landspítali ohf. (NLSH) will host an open meeting for residents and other stakeholders regarding the Borgarspítali land-use plan amendment on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, at 5 p.m. The event takes place at Víkin, the Víkingur Clubhouse in Fossvogur.

Attendees will review a proposed amendment to the master plan and land-use plan for Borgarspítali. This amendment establishes a land-use plan for a site south and east of the existing Borgarspítali/Landspítali Hospital in Fossvogi to accommodate a new psychiatry wing for Landspítali Hospital.
