The Reykjavík City Building Preservation Fund seeks applications for grants to repair and restore historically or artistically significant buildings in Reykjavík.
Important information
All applications must include:
- Description of planned work.
- Project timeline.
- Detailed cost estimate (itemized for multi-component projects).
- Recent photograph of the building and historical photograph if available.
Applications must be submitted using the official form available on the My Pages section of the Reykjavík website.
Application period
The application period opens Friday, February 21 at 1pm and closes Friday, March 14 at 11:59pm.

Note that grants awarded in 2025 must be used by December 31, 2026, or they will expire.
