Thank you for attending the Children's Culture Festival 2023
The festival took place throughout the city and was particularly successful, with an estimated well over 15,000 people attending the 400 events offered during the festival.
This year's festival theme was peace, and children worked on all kinds of projects related to peace, both inner peace and world peace.
Large and small exhibitions and events were offered for children and with children. Children displayed their works at respected cultural institutions and largely took over the city's cultural life during the six days the festival lasted.
This year there was special emphasis on events in Grafarvogur, where Adventure Palace played a leading role at Spöngin City Library. People of all ages turned out in large numbers and participated in the program with dance, song and joy.
Many people have worked tirelessly on preparing and organizing the Children's Culture Festival: Reykjavík City staff, preschools, primary schools, recreation centers, cultural institutions and individuals. The festival wouldn't be as magnificent without their contributions. Thank you for your contribution.
