The Women of Multicultural Ethnicity Network in Iceland was established on October 24, 2003.
The organization aims to unify, address, and give voice to the interests and concerns of women who have settled in Iceland. Its goal is to promote equality and ensure equal status for women of foreign origin in all areas of national life. This website provides information about the network, its issues, and projects. We also post news and announcements about events related to immigration, women's issues, and family matters. The network is overseen by a annually elected board, which serves for one year at a time. Membership in the network is open to all women of foreign origin living in Iceland.
