Operating permit proposal - Reykjavík Cemeteries, Composting in Gufunes Cemetery
Reykjavík Public Health has drafted an operating permit proposal for Reykjavík Cemeteries at Vesturhlíð 8, for an application for an operating permit for composting at the northern end of Gufunes Cemetery at Hallsvegur, 112 Reykjavík. The activity involves compost production, approximately 80 cubic meters per year. The proposal recommends that the operation should comply with the Public Health Committee of Reykjavík's general operating permit conditions for polluting activities. The proposed validity period is 12 years.
