The preschools in all municipalities in Reykjavík will be closed today, Thursday 25. March, until 12 noon because of tightened COVID-19 regulations that wient into action from 12 midnight.
The municipalities decided to give the staff half a day to organize the days ahead. The preschools will remain open but they will operate within the restrictions caused by the regulation but it allows ten grown up individuals to be in the same room allocated to them in order to prevent mitigation.
