Operating permit notices
Proposed operating permits must be posted for public review for four weeks on the Reykjavík Public Health website. During this review period, anyone may submit substantive comments regarding the proposal to heilbrigdiseftirlit@reykjavik.is.
The advertisement includes the proposed operating permit conditions and attachments as applicable. During the advertising period, anyone can comment on the proposal. Comments should be sent in writing to heilbrigdiseftirlit@reykjavik.is or to Reykjavík Public Health, Borgartún 12-14, 105 Reykjavík.
Reykjavík Public Health decides on issuing the operating permit within four weeks after the comment period ends. Applicants and those who commented can request justification for the decision and may appeal the decision to issue an operating permit to the environmental and natural resource appeals board.
