Older people who cannot make use of public transport or their own vehicle can get a driving service. If you need to get out to a store, a party, or a doctor, the Driving Service is here for you. The goal of the program is that people can go on their trips at the time of their choice. Pant is responsible for driving services for people with disabilities.

Am I entitled to services?

To be eligible for the program, you must be a legal resident of and meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Be mobile and use a wheelchair.
  • Can't use public transport due to a disability.
  • Be blind.

Disabled children may be provided with driving services, in which case parents or pre-screening providers will apply for them. Children under the age of six must always be accompanied by an adult.

How do I apply for the program?

You can electronically apply for driving services on the web, but you can also file an application in paper form at a service desk. An application must be accompanied by a confirmation of disability diagnosis, for example a medical certificate. What happens next?

Your application will be assessed on your conditions and ability to use other travel options. People can get part of a driving program from a year if they need it.

You will be notified in writing whether an application is accepted or rejected. Responses to electronic applications are posted on the Driving Services Application Portal. Generally, the program is approved for a period of two years.

I've received an approved driving program, so what?

Once you have an approved driving service, you will contact the Ordering Party providing the service.
