The exhibition God, I Feel So Bad will be held from 3 June–24 September 2017 with numerous works by artist Ragnar Kjartansson on show in Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús. Some of the works are durational performances, and interested participants are being sought.

The exhibition God, I Feel So Bad will be held from 3 June–24 September 2017 with numerous works by artist Ragnar Kjartansson on show in Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús. Some of the works are durational performances, and interested participants are being sought for the following projects:

To Music
Pianists to play music to Schubert’s, An die Musik. A successful applicant needs to have passed the 6-7th level, or its equal, in playing the piano. Time period is 2-11 June during museum opening hours, as well as a rehearsal period. Interested pianists send a photo and sound recording by their own choice (web link or sound file).

Female musicians with a lot of charm and confidence to be alone on stage. A successful applicant needs to have a basic knowledge of guitar playing, be able to tune the instrument, change the strings and play basic chords. Also be 18 years of age at least. Time period is 17 June–3 September during museum opening hours, in shifts, as well as a rehearsal period. Musicians send a photo of themselves standing with a guitar.

Take Me Here by the Dishwasher – Memorial for a Marriage
Male musicians/troubadours, confident to perform in close proximity to the audience. A successful applicant needs to have a guitar, be able to tune it, change strings as well as being able to learn and perform polyphonic singing and guitar playing. Also be 20 years old at least. Musicians send a video recording, singing and playing a song of their own choice (web link or video file). Time period is 9-24 September during museum opening hours, as well as a rehearsal period.

Apart from this, applicants shall send a short letter, with a description of their skills and a little bit about themselves, a resume, email address and phone number. Deadline is 30 April. Auditions will be called between 1-5 May.
