Have you ever danced in a wheelchair? CAN you dance in a wheelchair? Bring your own wheelchair or borrow one from us on Culture Night at Reykjavík Art Museum, Hafnarhús.
 
Many of Iceland´s great musicians and comedians will play music, sing and teach how to rock´n roll in a wheelchair. The Mayor of Reykjavík, Dagur B. Eggertsson will perform as a Dj., and other artists include actors Björgvin Franz Gíslason, Edda Björgvinsdóttir and Guðlaug María Bjarnadóttir, actor and singer Helgi Björnsson, singers Magga Stína and Páll Óskar Hjálmtýsson, comedian Steindi Jr. and the singer Þórunn Antónía Magnúsdóttir.
 
The Wheelchair Disco is held in collaboration by Reykjavík Art Museum, Tjarnarleikhópurinn acting group and the inhabitants of Sólheimar in Grímsnes.
 
The last opportunity to see The Course of Life by Kjarval
Kjarvalsstaðir will be open from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Culture Night with no admission. The curator of the exhibition Jóhannes S. Kjarval: Mind and World, Ólöf Kristín Sigurðardóttir, Director of Reykjavík Art Museum, will be at the museum at 3 p.m. and talk about the exhibition and between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. there will be Mini-Guided tours with special focus on selected works.
