Reykjavík city service centres provide information on all municipal service in Reykjavík. There you can apply for diverse services such as preschool, social allowance and financial advice, rent benefit and domestic help. The city service centres also provide social counselling, psychological and academic counselling for preschool and school children, diverse leisure opportunities and much more.
The objective of the city service centres is to make all the City services more accessible for residents and to enable the cross sectoral cooperation between specialists working with children and families thus increasing the quality of life in Reykjavík. Furthermore the city service centres will emphasize on strengthening all kinds of local activities in Breiðholt in cooperation with its residents, non-governmental/non-profit organisations and others who want to participate.
